The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (Senior Division) Parminder Pal Singh pronounced the judgment and sentenced Hardeep Singh, alias Deepa, and Jagwant Singh Bittu, residents of Desumajra, to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh each. The two accused had thrown acid on Rakesh Rekhi, managing director of Rudraksh Group, and two girl staff members of the group, Shivatika and Shefali.
