A local court at Kharar on Tuesday gave permission to the Mohali police to take voice samples of Gurwinder Singh Bains, one of the three accused arrested by the police so far in the murder case of CTU employee Abhishek Guleria here. As per a Mohali police official, they got a voice recording from the mobile phone of the accused in which he was asked to act as per plan by Lt Col Baljit Singh Sandhu, the owner of Forest Hill Resort and World Wide Immigration Consultant Services. “We now need the voice samples of Bains and Sandhu to match that with the conversation in the recording in question. As Sandhu is yet to join the police investigations, we have asked the court’s permission for taking voice samples of Bains.
